Jesse Pitela is a Los Angeles-based VFX and 3D artist, director and an award-winning filmmaker who has worked with brands such as Snapchat and Shutterstock, several VFX houses (ChariotDrive, Riotmaker, The Resistance) as well as starts-ups such as Komuso Jewelry (LA) and Backbone (SF) and whose work has been showcased by every major computer-graphics website in the world, including CGSociety. He’s worked on projects ranging from product renderings to explosions and is mainly focused on FX including fire, liquid simulations, and destruction. A student of blockbuster filmmaking and a muscle car enthusiast, Jesse often features the all-American Dodge Challenger in his projects.

Finished a 20-minute action film which went on to win multiple awards.


Motion graphics for launch videos for Snapchat Stories

Edited and created all graphics for the final auction trailer by Hollywood legend Debbie Reynolds

During senior year of high school my car commercial won 1st place and a car for charity

Ran a YouTube channel with a few thousand subscribers and made a short action video that got over a million views.
